Dawn is not correct when she says that NSW death certifcates do not name children and provide ages - again it depends on the informant, and possibly the registrar asking the questions. I have 25 NSW certifcates which provide names of children, mostly with ages, even though some of these are wrong. I also one which breaks these into children of different marriages. I do have 4 which just say number of males and females deceased. There are also the frustrating certificates where the informant is someone from the hospital where the person died, and they say there is no wife or children - or they are unknown, simply because the information isn't in their records. Other adult certificates have the information that they weren't married, or were married with no issue.
