Victoria in Australia gives all that too, plus names and ages of children or if deceased, marriage spouse details and of them all if more than one marriage - separates the children into the different marriages too. Informant, relationship to deceased etc as well. Always assuming the informant knew the information of course. These days the informant can in fact be the deceased, too, though they don't put that on the death cert. I as named as the informant on my mother's death cert BUT she had given all the information when she prepaid her funeral. I had to amend one thing. She said she was born in Gillingham Kent England (correct) and spent "whole of life" here in Victoria. I amended that bit - she came here when she was four - so the answer was 81 years not 85. I only picked it up when I got the death cert in the mail - mind you it was very easy to amend, done in a five minute visit to the BDM office and they posted out the amended version to me. NSW here has ALMOST as much info on them but children are given just as eg 5 females living 2 males living 1f deceased 2m deceased. Also low long she had been in Paisley, also mam and dads names- inc mams maiden name, and cause of death. All for 6 credits on scotspeople (30 credits costs £6.00) So I now know where the family came from in IRELAND as opposed to just Ireland and the approx year of leaving Ireland- all from a siblings death record:) Wish a few more had gone to Scotland in the 1850's. (and hopefully had siblings who obligingly died there!)
