As a doctor, I can only think of two possibilities. Both involve mis-readings, and I'd be interested to know where the information came from. But consider "Abortion -- pregnancy" as a possible mistake in entering, or maybe "ectopic pregnancy" for which another term might have been in use in the year (unstated).
