I have been told that a memorial existed in Cowpen Cemetery to honour the men who went down on a ship at sea, possibly a tea clipper. I am wondering whether anyone on the list would know this cemetery and if the memorial still exists? My gggrandfather, John Potts, went down with the ship. He was a Master Mariner. I have found very little information on him and thought that there might be something of value on the memorial. Here's hoping. Shirley Greaves
