Hello List, My 2X Great Grandfather David Alexander Guthrie born September 1831 in Ouseburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, England was a Coal Miner and had probably been in a Mining Accident as in the 1871 census David was in Walker Hospital and Died in 1872. David's death was found in the quarter of December 1872. Was his death caused by a Mining accident from 1871 or did he linger until 1872, or had he been in another accident? Has anyone a list of people that were in Mining accidents in the Northumberland area please.
