Hi Karen, My g. g. grandmother, Frances Forster was born in South Shields in 1836. Her sister, Ann, was born there in 1844. Ann is on the 1861 census with her parents, William and Mary, in Brunswick Street Westoe. Frances was also living in Brunswick St., with her son, Thomas Forster Williamson, her husband, John Williamson being away at sea. I have no idea what happened to Ann after that because I think both her parents had died before the 1871 census and if Ann had married before 1871, I would not know what name to look for. We could well have the same Ann but until you can establish a few more details, we won't know for certain if there are any links at all. I do hope there are! Regards Eileen
