Hi Arthur I was interested in your posting - not because I can help you - or even that we had GLOVERs in the family - but my mother used to talk about her friend who was called Ethel GLOVER. Now this Ethel GLOVER lived in Dunston which is in the Gateshead Registration district, but would have been younger than the one you are looking for - probably the next generation. My mother was born in 1913. There may have been a sister, or perhaps a cousin, called Winnie GLOVER of about the same age or younger. If you think this may be your family, I will ask my sister if she can remember anything my mother said about them. I might even find a photograph, as it seems to me that my Mom had one, and her stuff is all in my store room waiting to be sorted!
