Jacquie, Did you get an e.mail from me in the past couple of days? I have been having problems with getting messages through to the list and am not sure whether those same messages are getting through to the intended subscriber too. I found proof, I think, that Catherine Logg could in no way be the mother of John Mercer shown in the census entry from 1891 that you found.
