Merrilyn Minter @ Newcastle NSW Australia Hello Merrilyn, I remember I have had contact with you in the past as I have been a member of Newcastle Family History Society NSW. (My mother was born in Stockton Newcastle NSW of 2 Scots mining families.) I am wondering if you have ever come across family of Edward BURN arr. Sydney NSW 1832 as Bounty passenger. Children's names were not listed on passenger manifest - 3 girls 2 boys only. He was a pitman from North Shields NBL. He was buried at St Thomas Rest Park, North Sydney in 1853. I am wondering if Edward and Elizabeth BURN went to Newcastle NSW as a mining family. Have you ever seen these names? This is fairly new information for me. Between 1832 and 1853 I have no information about families' whereabouts and don't know where to look for them. Could you email me please? judmc@xtra.co.nz Thanks and greetings to everybody.
