Hello All, While I was at Durham CRO, I came across these consecutive entries in the burials of 1848 at St James' Castle Eden. Thomas Proud, Hutton Henry, August 25th age 28 Mary Proud, Castle Eden Colliery, August 26th age 34 These were bracketed and a note added " Killed by Lightning" and a further note "These two persons though of the same name were not related - They were killed in the same storm" Regards, Colin
