    3. Hi Ian According to Paul Joannou's book "The Black and White Alphabet", thegoalkeeper between 1893 and 1895 was W. LOWERY, there is a photograph ofhim, but it only notes that he was 5 ft 10 ins, born on Tyneside. and "was apopular local sportsman". Hopefully the "W" initial might narrow it downfor you.
