Hello, I'm new to this list and I thought I'd post my interests. Searching for any info or any one researching George Wilkens or Wilkins who married Jane Maddison 1866 at the Holy Trinity Church Southshields, they both drowned while on a ship called The Queen of England in 1880-81. George was the master. They had 3 children I know of so far Eleanor b, 1869 Northshields, Thomas George b.1871 Tynmouth and Jane b.1876c Nothshields. Would also like to find any info about what happened to this ship and the children after the death of their parents.
