Hi Nora, This site http://freebmd.rootsweb.com/cgi/search.pl will give you the GRO reference for her birth registration, assuming that it was registered, as there was no penalty on parents for non-registration until 1875. In some parts of the country as many as 15% of all births were not registered during the first decades after 1837. Many believed that registration was not necessary if the child was baptised.
