Although no one responded to my earlier posting re the name Tough I am letting you know that I have the 'Tales & Ballads of Wearside' by John Green 4th edition 1885 with the name Alex Tough on the inside cover. (He was born in Sunderland in 1861). If anyone (preferably associated with the Tough family) wants the book -- it'll just cost the postage. John
