My GGGgrandfather, James Dixon , a baker b. in Newcastle around 1786 married Isabella Robson b. 1794 on January 17th , 1811 at All Saints . Another couple with the same name were married in 19th Nov., 1820 at Bywell , St. Andrews which confused my research. One researcher suggested that James' parents might have been George Dixon who married Elisabeth Lamb on Dec, 4th, 1776 at All Saints, Ncle. and that a John Robson married a Mary b. 1769 who could have been Isabella's parents.I have not been able to prove these conjectures:-) Their children were George born and baptised in 1812 at All Saints, Hannah, chr. on Dec. 11th ,1814, Isabella b. March 17th, 1820 , James Matthias b. March 23 , 1823 and my GGgrandfather William Maxwell Dixon b. 1825 in Newcastle. The only family member that I have lots of information on is my GGgrandfather and his wife , Mary Ann JOHNSON and her family.
