    3. Hello All: My great-grandmother, Elizabeth Hannah Howard, was married to Samuel Brown in 1862 in Halvergate, Norfolk. She and Samuel had 12 children (including my grandfather, John Henry Brown), some of whom died in childhood. The family later moved to Newcastle where they appear in the 1891 census. Samuel apparently died in 1895 in Tynemouth and Elizabeth remarried in 1898 to William Cook, a widower (b. 1851 in Bedlington). In 1901 William and Elizabeth were living together, in Gateshead, with four children, all with the last name of Cook. Three of the children appear to be the adopted children of Samuel Brown (Alexander, or Abraham (18), Edith (13) and Isabella M or Malo (11)). The fourth, Edward Cook (9), is William's son by his first wife. Does anyone have any further information that would help me track the descendants? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tod Brown Maine, USA
