Can anyone tell me why the find my past website states that Durham is now available when in fact a lot of it is not. I know I have ancestors living in Gateshead, Sunderland & Durham City at that time but it keeps coming up no results found. It said they were both there in Ryton. So I paid my £6.50 and did the extended search. That said they are NOT there..... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Their names were unusual so I wasn't looking at someone else on the initial search. I had the same problem with my G Grandmother in Surrey. I eventually found her with Ilsley transcribed as Pohley. I had to make my search as broad as possible using Christian names and year and place of birth and eventually found her. Looks like I'm in the same boat John, I have several family members in Gateshead & not one has come up yet.
