Blackett Bunting, head widr. 47, born Coxhoe Sarah Holmes, housekeeper 33, born Shildon Annie I Holmes housekeeper's dau. 12 born Shildon Lily Holmes ditto 9 born Shildon Jane Holmes ditto 7 born Shildon Robert Holmes housekeeper's son 5 born Shildon Thomas Holmes ditto 3 born Shildon George Holmes ditto 4 months born Shildon 1891 Sarah Ann Holmes is a boarder with a family called Taylor and daughter Ann Isabella aged 2 born Shildon. Ann Isabella is also listed as a boarder but likely to be Sarah's daughter. 1881 Sarah is with her family parents being Thomas and Ann. It looks as though Sarah Ann was born Sarah Ann Holmes. On freebmd there's a birth reg. for Thomas Bunting Holmes in the March qtr.1898, Auckland District which takes in Shildon. Hope this helps. Gillian
