    3. I have recently acquired a copy death certificate of my 3xg-grandmother Rosanna McConnell. She died of Cholera (30 hours certified) on 29 Sept 1853. Her place of death was "New Gateshead" & the residence of the Informant, Charles McConnell, present at the death (presumably her husband), was "New Gateshead, Gateshead". I have Googled & tried GENUKI for New Gateshead, without success. Can anyone inform me of the location of New Gateshead, was it an area of Gateshead or a specific site? It seems to me rather vague that a street was not specified. John Catterson High Wycombe
