Hi List, On the 1911 census I have a persons place of birth being given as DURHAM COTTURSTONE. After much searching the nearest I can find is COTHERSTONE,Barnard Castle. Could this be the same place? The occupation of the person is given as, Workhouse Childrens attendant and the address is TEESDALE UNION WORK HOUSE AND CASUAL WARDS,107 GALGATE, BARNARD CASTLE. Any help appreciated. Jan.
