    3. Heather, Thankyou so much. I have found this family on the 1881, 1891, & 1901 UK census returns all in Co. Durham. They lived in Winlaton and GENUKI has now told me that Rowlands Gill is in the Parish of Winlaton so I am sure this is the right place. It definately says Rollands Hill on his Marriage Reg., but with a N.E. English accent it was obviously heard as Hill instead of Gill. Many thanks, it would have taken me ages to find it otherwise.
