I am trying to locate Dumhope Street, Hebburn on a map, but am having trouble. Everything seems to point to the area of Lyon Street and Prince Consort Road. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kelly

Dumhope Street runs between Ropery Lane & Argyle Street, and is between Campbell Street & Usway Street. I will send you a scan off list from an old A to Z street map. If you go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and enter the coordinates 430957, 565045 in to search it will centre the map on the location of Dumhope Street, which you can see on the 1951-59 map.
