    3. Hi Stan Just looked on Genuki and found this;- Havannah Colliery, Hazlerigg A drift mine. Location:- (Sheet 88) NZ217718, 55° 2' 25" N, 1° 39' 37" W, 5.5 miles [9 Km] NNW of Newcastle. No idea if there is a village of the same name near it. 3. During my visit to relatives in NSW, I read my digests by "Webmail". This shows the digest as a single message, without the need to bring up each message in turn. I found it convenient. The Sheffield list has recently changed format to give the same form on ordinary email access. Would it be worth changing this list's format? John Fisher Tewantin QLD

    3. Ditto to Margaret, I reported missing pages on the 1851 Allendale parish census over a year ago, with no response or corrections to date, so they may be waiting until the public has hashed through all the districts to find the problems before they address a second go-round? The scary part is that I would not have know of the omission unless a cousin had mentioned that they had found the individual that I was looking for on the census through another census source. Now I always check for missing pages. :) Mention has been made of other problems with the census transcriptions, but I still commend Ancestry.com for taking the plunge and putting them online. A wonderful resource for sure. 1. [DUR-NBL] Mrs Elizabeth MILLER b 1869 Jarrow
    2. Jill Turner
    3. Hello everyone I am seeking a Mrs Elizabeth MILLER, born 1869 in Jarrow. In the 1901 census she is in Grimsby with her 1-month old son Edward - the father of the baby is my step-grandfather Mark Turnbull (born Mark Langford in South Shields). Mark and Elizabeth had 2 more sons and lived in Great Yarmouth until she died in 1915. They never married - presumably because she was already married. Has anyone come across a missing Mrs Miller around this time? Any clues welcome! Jill Jill Turner

    3. Margaret, I shouldn't hold your breath waiting for this problem to be corrected. Nearly a year ago I reported missing pages in the 1851 census for Newcastle All Saints (pages 1 to 37 missing in district 2h). There were a couple of follow-ups, but the pages are still missing on Ancestry. I found the information I wanted elsewhere as the pages do exist, though some folio numbers are not very clear. Ancestry will have the missing images and I am sure they will add them to the site once they know of the problem. Margaret.

I have reported these missing pages to Ancestry. But..... are there copies/transcriptions of the incomplete pages anywhere? John
