I am very curious as to whether the 1758 date given as the marriage date for Adam and Elizabeth is "guess-timated" or documented somewhere. While it seems likely that this might be the time period, I have never found an actual record. Also, it is possible that Samuel, the son of Adam and brother to James, may have been the eldest and born abt 1757. Another Dinsmore researcher tells me that this Dinsmore line was also in Virginia and that the family went back and forth a great deal and does so to this day. Does anyone else have information along these lines. We are researching the Samuel Dinsmore line. He was the son of Adam and Elizabeth and married Elizabeth Nichols King.
