I do know that Thomas Clise was born in Midland, Allegany, Maryland, where all of his brothers and sisters were born. He is the 11th of 12 children, his parents being George Clise and Suzanne Porter. His brother Harrison Clise married Matilda Stevenson, b. 1859, and his sister Ellen Clise married Samuel Stevenson. Could these be siblings of Mary Agnes? Could there name also be spelled Stevenson, instead of Stephenson? Could the Stephenson (Stevenson) family have come from Allegany County? That is about all I know of them.
