The info that you posted re your mother's notes appear to be the family that I have been researching. Alexander Walker Densmore 1823-1901. He was not given this middle at birth, and like many Scotmen who immigrated. it was added after his arrival in 1837 It is his mother's maiden name, and I a certain that I have located his brother who has done the same. Alexander, a brother and a sister immigrated to PA via Canada in 1837.
