Nancy Maria DENSMORE b 04 Nov 1810 Waterbury/Woodbury, Litchfield Co., CT mar. Joel HUBBELL 03 Dec 1831, Washington, Litchfield Co. CT and she d 13 Jan 1834. There is very little written in the vr of Litchfield Co. about this couple. Is it possible they had a son, (George Lewis HUBBELL) before she died? Was there another child? It may have been possible, but unlikely in that period of time. Who would have cared for the child of the young couple after Nancy's death and Joel's remarriage, Nancy's mother? Sister? Joel remarried in CT and had two children with his new wife before moving to NY state where they had two more children. They finally moved to Everton, IN and had the remainder of their children.
