Has anyone been able to sort out all the Dunsmores in Old Monkland, Scotland? I understand that they are descended from brothers: Robert Dunsmore who married Janet Provand in 1702 --- and John Dunsmore who married Christian Donald in 1710. I have been able to take my Dunsmores back to John Dunsmore b. 1782 who married Jean Gray b. 1784 --- but can go no further back. Any suggestions from out there?
