Information handed down through family members states William Dunsmore b. 1804 in Coatbridge, Lanark, Scotland and his son John Dunsmore b. 1832 in New Monkland, Lanark, Scotland came to the US in 1850. I have gone through most of the passenger lists at the National Archives and cannot locate them. Does anyone else have this information?
