Hi there, Diane list admin here. Is there anyone on this list that need any help with research from anybody? There hasn't been much going on with this list for a while! Hoping to hear from you soon. Diane list admin
Hi, I am John Morrison. I haven't done any Densmore research for quite a while, but I have never been quite satisfied with my tree information. I can trace my Densmore line with confidence as follows, beginning with myself and working backwards: John Morrison 1934-present. Born Texas, in MIssouri since 1961. Grace Long Morrison 1909-1993 Born Texas, died in Texas Iowa Millicent Holden Long 1881-1978. Born Georgia, went to Texas 1900. xxxx Densmore Holden abt 1863-1937. She married Calvin Bunyan Holden (1859-1955 in Georgia. Samuel Mercer Densmore, born 1838 in Georgia, d. 1920 in Texas. David Densmore II m. Rhoda Burt. Both from Georgia, David 1807-about 1875/1880. David Densmore I. About 1778 North Carolina - ? Probably Georgia. Adam Dunsmore, born in Ireland, died near Huntsville, Alabama. Left a will. My unease rests in vague evidence about the provenence of this line from David Densmore II back through David Densmore I and on to Adam Dunsmore. I don't doubt the existence of either, just whether the line really goes through them. I apologize for my vagueness here, my FTM data is in a laptop that isn't easily accessible to me right now; I have it in a thumb drive, but don't have an IBM machine to read it in right now. Am converting to iMAC, but my Apple version of FTM hasn't been delivered yet. If anyone has knowledge of this line, I can fill in the blanks without too much effort.
