Perhaps a birth, or two after this approx. arrival? I have seen Dumphy spelling for 1850 Census at Gardiner, ME of my branch, but haven't found parents or siblings yet. My Dunphy, John is supposed to have been born on a farm near St John in Jun 1816. He migrated to Minn and Wis from Gardiner, ME abt 1855. Any connection?
