My Great grandmothers name was Hannah Dunphy ! Maiden name Listen. Married Thomas Edward Dunphy who came from Ireland with his sister Bridget and a brother name unknown. Came with their father Edmund around 1850. The four of them traveled to Illinois (close to Galesburg, stayed several years, then on to Creston, IA where 6 generations of Dunphys have lived. One of Thomas Edward sons was my grandfather Henry and my father was Thomas Eugene. I am Thomas Lynn, father to Thomas Jason. But enough for the Tom's for now. Another son of mine, Sean Patrick, gave my my membership to Ancestry and I've been 'playing with it for over a year.
