I'm curious to know his siblings and parents names and whether you might have any immigration stats. Does the property description match your ancestor? Blissfield is on the SW Miraimchi. So I'm curious whether your folks may have landed at the mouth of the Miramichi and traveled upriver, or moved up from St John. Would you know? Was my John Dunphy, b. 1816 (rumored at St John), a sibling of your Thomas? I may be able to assist with your search since it seems that I will need to track all the Dunphy families in early New Brunswick to find my ancestors.
