I am their direct descendant. Michael Henry Dunphy (went by Henry) and his family (not sure who was alive or what siblings, but his parents were Thomas Edward Dunphy and Hannah Listen Dunphy) lived in Creston at the turn of the century. They moved there from Illinois in 1883. Henry married Margaret Pearl Davenport (went by Pearl) in 1909 in Creston. Their only son, Thomas Eugene Dunphy (went by Eugene) - I know, what's with the middle name thing? - was my grandfather. Does this make a connection with anything that you have?
