I don't have all the info with me right at the moment but the family apparently came from Ireland>Newfoundland to Cape Breton- there is a Ned Dunphy and a Thomas Dunphy as well as many brothers and sisters and I can't remember exactly where Edward fits in. My grandmother was Lena (Selena) Dunphy daughter of Patrick Dunphy and Catherine McLellen of White Point and Pleasant Bay respectively. I am at work at the momemnt but if you want to email me I can give you the names of all the family members as I was lucky enough to receive a detailed family tree from a Dunphy in White Point.
