EDWARD "Ned" DUNPHY b cic 1801 Ire>Nfld>NS- Aspy Bay>White Point. Appears to have settled in White Point area in early 1830's. Shows in 1838 census. Married Fannie Daisley b 1821 daughter of Capt William Daisley, South Harbour. EDward and Fannie lived a short period in Gray's Hollow but settled in White Point. First child born in 1838. They had nine in all, sons, William, John, Michael and daughters , Mary, Hattie, Alice, Margaret, Abbie and Ellen. Edward and Fannie are buried at the original site of White Point in the old Pioneer Cemetary. Anyway I live in Glace Bay,NS and my phone number is 902-849-6300 I have more info as well as a couple of more photos of Dunphys that would be related to you. My grandmothers family go back to Edward through his son Williams children.
