Martha Dunn (DUNNE?) was born in Ireland, county unknown, in 1812/1813. Before 1832, he married Joshua Delany (Delaney). Five chyildren were born in Irelannd: George, 1832; Ann, 1834; Susan H. (1838); Sarah, 1841/1842; and Martha, 1841/1842). Sometime after 1842, the Delany (Delaney) family emigrated to the U.S. By 1850, they resided in Philadelphia where Joshua Delany worked variously as a wheelwright annd as a stonecutter. They were protestant, C of I in Ireland, Episcopalian in the U.S. Any ideas? Any connections: ancestors or descendants? Joseph R.
