Briscoe, b. 1842 in GA, that is on Carol Mitchell's post of May 17 is my great-grandfather. I wonder why no info seems to surface on anyone past that generation. Philip D's son, James Luther Briscoe, b. 3-14-1873, had James Frederick Briscoe, b. 10-24-1912, who had me, Anita June Briscoe, b. 6-11-1954. I have Anita Nicole Anderson and Jay Allen Anderson. If anyone wants to add my info to their posts, etc., I'd be glad to give more info. Thanks. June
