I know who my grandfather and great grandfather were, also the name of my great great grandfather. I also know they were married to Covingtons. I cannot find any info on my g- g-g- grandfather as to who his parents were or where they are from. He was Will Dunn married to Charlotte Covington. My g-g grandfather was W Wesley Dunn married to Sarah Margaret Covington who came from Gibson, NC. Her mother was Sarah (Sallie) Pate who married Covington. My great grandfather was James Dunn who married Ada Byrd she a native of Wilkes Cty NC. I would love to hear from anyone who may have a connection to the Dunns or Covington's.
