I have recently started genealogical research and it is my goal to create something substantial, and eventually to then provide a copy of this genealogy to ANY AND ALL of our cousins so that we may share it with our own children and grandchildren. Philip Waugh (listed as Philip J. on tombstone but generally reported as Philip Henry), b.Sept.15,1875 (St.John's, Newfoundland, Canada); died 1916 Boston, Massachusetts, USA; married Mary Elizabeth Dunn, b.1881 (St.John's, Newfoundland, Canada or possibly Ireland); died 1948 Portland, Maine, USA. Philip died young, leaving Mary with 9 children ranging in age from 14yrs. down to less than 1yr. She resided and raised these children after Philip's death in the Rumford/Mexico,Maine,USA area where they are now both buried. They had a total of 9 children who lived to adulthood. Listed in descending chronological order: John Henry (Jack) 1902, Mary Bridget (Molly) 1904 [m.Jenkins,m.Lacroix], William J. (Bill) 1905, Edward J. (Eddie) 1907, Frank 1908, James Philip (Jim) 1910, (Idella or)Ida M. 1911, Margaret M. 1914 [m.Wyman], Leona 1915 [m.Grady] All above are now deceased including John Henry (Sr) who was my father. I would like to establish connections with any cousins from this family who would like to contribute facts and/or help create a genealogy for ourselves but especially for our younger generations. I would definitely like to establish connections with any ancestors or cousins of Philip Waugh and Mary Elizabeth Dunn. And I am particularly looking to connect with a George Waugh, possibly from NH or MA, and a Dan Waugh, possibly from RI, who I believe may be first cousins to the above 9 siblings through one or more brothers of Philip's.
