I would like to try to find out more about my mother's many cousins. And, I'd like to ask if anyone is related to or knows about the following family: George and Harriett (KERR) DUNN had 3 children: Leroy "Roy," Dorothy "Dottie," and Harriett "Hattie." Harriett DUNN married Ian SHIPLEY, and they had 2 children. They later divorced, and Harriett remarried. Son, Ian SHIPLEY, Jr., married Dixie _____, and they had 2 children, John SHIPLEY and Janice SHIPLEY. Son, Bruce SHIPLEY went to Washington, DC, and became a Presidential Aide. He was a Citadel graduate. (Not known whether he married.) This information is from my mother's notes from the 1970's, and it involves the KERR family of Everett and Malden, MA. Because it is an unusual name, I did a Google search for "Ian SHIPLEY" and found this: http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?971+ful+SJ237 It seems that both brothers, Ian and Bruce, went to the VA and Washington, DC, area, and did very well for themselves.
