I am looking for information on Cyrus F. (C.F.) Dunn son of G.W. Dunn of Stanly/Davie Co. and Martha Hunter Dunn b. 1810. C.F. 's wife was Annis Dunn. They lived in Davie co. in the 1870 Census with his parents and sister next door. They had moved back to Stanly co. by the 1880 Census. He "may have" gotten the land that his uncle Harry A. Hunter had in Stanly Co.,NC before moving to AR in 1870-71. C F had a sister named Ophylia Jane Dunn. She may have gone by Jane, and had gotten married between 1870-1880. Only ones I have seen on the 1880 census were C F and Annis Dunn with their children, one named Cyrus L. I am still tracing down my Dunns. Of course most are connected some how. I do know that some of my line moved out west. I had a GGGrandfather that was in the gold fields in the 1849's I really was drawn by your Tapia name. I have a friend who is looking for her cousin, Caroline Hockersmith. Tapia is the family name. Some of the names are Juan, Marie, Gilbert or Gilberto, Beatrice, Dolores, Gladys. Some of the surnames are Tapia. Hernandez, Austin. Juan and Marie came to the USA from Spain via the Panama Canal. Their daughter, Gladys was born while going through the Canal, making her an automatic citizen of the USA. Doloros was in Washington DC while little. Her aunt and uncle took her to live with them until she left. We saw a message from Caroline Hockesmith looking for this family, but I have had no luck getting any answer to my pleas for her to contact Dolores. Do you or anyone you know happe! > n to know of any information on this Caroline? I know it is a long shot, but anything is worth a try. David was b. 14 oct 1801 in Pa. He married Harriet 1842 in NY. Harriet was b. 19 Jan. 1821. I have her dates of death and place. I have her decendants ,but need her parents ,siblings and ancestors. I have possiblities, but need confired information. Any help would be of great help, because it would give me a route to take. Thanks. She was born in Morrow, Warren County, OH around 1863. According to my grandmother, now deceased, one of Winnie's sons, Mitchell Dunn, was a prominent doctor in the Columbus, Ohio area. I also believe that Winnie may have had a daughter or granddaughter named Katherine, who was still alive in the early 1970s. If anyone has information about this family, please contact me by email. Thank you. ______________________________________________________________________________ Send a friend your Buddy Card and stay in contact always with Excite Messenger http://messenger.excite.com
