The Dunns were in Rockingham Co., Virginia from 1763 till abt 1784 when they moved to that part of KY that was known as Fayette County but today is Jessamine County, KY. James Dunn ( 1724-1806) died in Jessamine Co. and in his Will mentioned a son-in-law named Richard Carson and Richard's children named John, Alexander, and Jennie. The name of James Dunn daughter that married Richard Carson is unknown to me. I have not been able to locate Richard Carson in the Census of that region. Could we have connection?
