Interesting... I have William DUNN, b. Feb 1835 Ireland, don't know parents names. Emmigrated 1850. m. about 1865, Emma or Mary G. HATCHER b. 1845, Ohio, father John HATCHER. William died 12 June 1903 Rhinelander, WI By 1870 they were in Bear Creek, WI Their Children: George & Ellen (twins); John; Frank; James; Michael; William; Mary; Anna; Stephen; Henry; Katherine. Mother listed on 1870 Census as Emma, this name is also listed as mother of the first 5 children on baptismal certificates; thereafter Mary listed as mother and on subsequent census. Ellen had a child out of wedlock in the Waupaca Poor House, in Manawa, in 1897. This child was my grandfather. However, the county clerks office records state that Ellen died in the poorhouse, two days after my grandfather was born. However, I have pictures of her both before and after that date, and she is the spitting image of her mom and also her brothers and sisters. Anyone else have any Dunns in this locality or any that match up with this line? Thanks, Linda Seaman
