    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg//hlT.2ACEB/1794.1.1.1 Message Board Post: While I do not have any info on Emma Dunn, I thought I might suggest to you to explore the possibility that your ancestors could have been Quakers, as were my Dunn ancestors. There was a large number of Quakers who settled in the New Jersey area. The Quakers formed communities and when they held community meetings, they kept rather detailed notes, many of which can still be located in genealogy libraries. My ancestor Benjamin Dunn who came over from Ireland in the late 1700's with his family is recorded in the minutes of the Quaker community. A major center of Quaker life in N.J. was Piscataway. Hope this might be a useful clue in your search. Hang in there,,,I did not think I would ever hear from someone with data on my Dunn ancestors a few months ago. Then out of the blue, two Dun cousins I never knew existed replied with a whole history of my family. Good luck in your search.' Beverly
