Hi List, Does anyone have connection to the following family: Charles FORBES farmer of Garrick & Newton Echt died 1876 born c 1819 Jane DUNN FORBES died 1906 born 1820. their first son Alexander was born 1848 in Leochel-Cushnie, Aberdeen. (IGI) I cannot find a marriage for them on the IGI 1835-55. My query is in relation to Jane DUNN FORBES. If anyone has her in any research please I would be grateful for her father's name as I am trying to connect her with my ancestor Robert DUNN BORN 1819 father William DUNN labourer (as mentioned on Robert's marriage cert). His military records states born Echt but the only Robert DUNN on the IGI has his dates earlier (1817) and his military records and census details seem definite that is 1819. If anyone has a spare moment when connected to Scots Origin perhaps it would be possible to check for her marriage probably in Leochel-Cushnie as their first child was christened there and this is her birthplace according to the 1881 census. She is buried in Kirkyard of Echt which I found her FORBES details in as I have the booklet of the MIs.
