With reference to the last paragraph in your email: I have gathered a list (?) of over 1000 Dunn descendents starting with a JAMES DUNN (b. 1794) and a DAVID DUNN (b. July 1796). All the descendents are Canadian citizens and living in Canada. We cannot find any trace of a couple of Dunns that left for the U.S.A. If this this is of any use to you or any other Dunn family member please let me know and we'll figure out some way of getting it to you. Neil, Do you have any reference of some of your Dunns coming over from England around 1882 and bringing with them a young boy around 7 that was not a family relative but a friend named John David or David John Pierce? The Dunns that brought my great grandfather over with them settled in Ontario. He raised his family mostly in St. Catharines. I hope that this will be a familiar story with you. I am at a dead end.
