They moved there from PA. Originally came to US in 1763 (James and Martha Long Dunn with 2/3 of their children ((Samuel, James, and maybe Nathaniel)) to PA from County Derry Ireland. James was a Linen Merchant and left Ireland because of taxation. They stayed in PA for a short time and then moved to Rockingham Co., VA. where James had a friend from Ireland living (James Brewster). They moved to Ky. sometime around late 1700's and from there they moved to Indiana and points south (Arkansas). Samuel, James's first son is my direct line and his line of this family is well documented. However, his first son (also named James) is more of a mystery. I know he married Elizabeth Hopkins and they had children. I come in again later with their son John who had a David, who had James, who had David, who had my mother in Arkansas.
