Lived in MD and later descendants in GA. I have a somewhat rare blood disease (not fatal), Thalassemia minor, that doctors say is usually only seen in people of Mediterrean ancestry. I know of no ancestor from that area, so I'm polling all my ancestral lines for clues. My brother's daughter, my sister, and her younger son also have it. Do you have a clue for me? Thanks. June
