John and Mary were parents of (among others) my gggrandfather, Thomas Dunn, who was also married to a Mary (Molly) Peters (not the same one, of course, but from the same Peters family and of different generations). Thomas and Mary were the parents of (among others) Madison Dunn, my gggrandfather. Madison and his wife Cynthia Shumate were the parents of (among others), Rufus K. Dunn, my ggrandfather.

I think we explored this Mary Peters/John Dunn connection. Unfortunately we couldn't find a connection. In fact we never have found the wife of John Dunn who served on "frontiers of this county"(Northampton, Pa). Roslyn-----
